Louis Sullivan designed terra cotta facade fragment from the St. Nicholas Hotel in St. Louis, 1894, by the firm of Adler & Sullivan. This fragment represents 1/4 of a snowflake design that adorned the exterior of the building. The hotel later became the Victoria Building in 1905, before being razed in 1974.
