Very rare Louis Sullivan designed plaster frieze fragment from the proscenium arch of the Garrick Theater, Chicago, Illinois, 1891. The Garrick Theater, originally named the Schiller Theater, was designed by famed architects Adler and Sullivan. When it was built, it was one of the tallest buildings in Chicago. Despite efforts to save the theater it was eventually razed in 1960.
